MedAssist - Dispensing Hope for the Uninsured

The NC MedAssist pharmacy provides free medications from their formulary to uninsured people whose income falls at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Level. Clients in Mecklenburg County will pick up their medications from the Community Pharmacy. For counseling, clients can call 1-866-331-1348 and ask to speak to a pharmacist. MedAssist's pharmacy will continue to provide eligible residents with the medications they need for as long as they are eligible.

Eligibility interviews are by Appointment Only. Please call 704-536-1790 to schedule an appointment.

What you will need to bring:

• Last month’s check stubs
• Latest Federal tax return
• Written prescriptions (Rx) from your doctor
