NC MedAssist is a very efficient organization.  Though expenses have grown 69% over four years, the growth in the value on medications dispensed has grown over 300%.  That means we have been able to respond to the increase in demand for medications with minimal increase in expenses.  In 2007, we served only one county - Mecklenburg.  In 2010, we served 79 of the 100 counties in North Carolina. 

For every $1 donated $8 in donated medications is dispensed back to the community.  90% of your investment goes directly to client services.  10% goes to administration and development. 

Our goal for 2011 is to add an additional 12,000 individuals and dispense a total of 140,000 prescriptions.  That is contingent on raising the additional funds to do so.  With your investment, NC MedAssist can empower communities accross the region to help low-income and uninsured people in their neighborhoods.
