Dispensing Program This program is for uninsured residents who live in Mecklenburg County and fall at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Clients are screened for eligibility and brought into the program as space allows. Clients receive medication compliance counseling from a registered pharmacist or a volunteer physician when they receive their medication.
MedAssist's pharmacy will continue to provide eligible residents with the medications they need for as long as they are eligible. (See our formulary)Education & Referral Programs MedAssist strives to provide relevant educational programs to Mecklenburg County citizens. Programs held at the MedAssist offices range from diabetes education sessions to a reviewof food stamp eligibility requirements.
